» The Epistle of Christ The Epistle of Christ – Benville Baptist

After preaching a revival, a young preacher arrived at the airport early because he loved to get a low number allowing him to be first to board the plane.  He saw an elderly lady pointing at him as she talked with a young woman.  Shortly after passing through the gate, he felt someone grab his arm.  It was the elderly lady that was pointing at him.  She held on until they got to the plane.  Being polite, the young preacher stepped aside to allow the lady to go first.  She refused, making him go first, and as he got seated, he heard a sweet voice asking, “Son, may I sit with you?”  He told her,  “Sure.”  She began to tell him how sweet God was to provide us salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.  She then asked, “Son, are you a Christian?”  He answered, “Yes, I am a Baptist preacher and just finished preaching a revival.”  She shouted, “I knew it, I knew it the moment I saw you.”  “I can’t wait to get home and call my daughter.”  She explained saying, “I told my daughter, see that man over there, I’m going to fly with him, for he is a Christian.”

2 Corinthians 3:3 says, “Ye are declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshing tables of the heart.

Christians walk with God.  You may be the only epistle this wicked world will ever read.
