Rom 5:10 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Reconciled means to restore a relationship to harmony. It seems to me that God has done everything to bring us to a saving relationship with Him. Even, not waiting until we were good enough or even willing to come to Him, notice: when we were enemies… Let me ask you: will you call on Him today! 

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Justified… Think what that means… We were declared righteous by God. Sinners made to be expected to a Holy God by the Blood of Christ! And because of what Christ has done we are saved from God’s wrath. I’m glad to be saved by His Grace. 



Romans 5:8 KJV
(8)  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God’s word tells us that it is God who loved us. He commendeth (to declare, show, make known) His love toward us. It is God who makes His love know to us. He did not wait until we were good enough, while I was enemies with God, Christ took my place and paid the price I could not pay. Made it possible to have fellowship with a holy God. Christ DIED for us!
